Dr. David Fett

 

David R. Fett, M.D., is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist as well as a fellowship-trained Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon. He also is an assistant Clinical Professor at the world-renowned UCLA/Jules Stein Eye Institute. He has served on the clinical faculty of the institute for more than 20 years. At the Institute, he teaches residents and fellows in courses dealing with ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has also conducted research in ophthalmology and published findings in leading professional journals.

Dr. Fett received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, and completed his internship at the University of California at San Francisco and Mount Zion Hospital. Dr. Fett completed the residency program in Ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Institute of the UCLA School of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Orbital Surgery at the University of Illinois and Michael Reese Hospitals in Chicago.

Dr. Fett is a member of the American Medical Association, California Medical Association, Los Angeles County Medical Association, Los Angeles Eye Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Blepharoplasty Society, and is a fellowship trained by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
